Matt Lamont is a guitarist, recording artist, and producer from New Jersey, currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

His musical background spans classical guitar, jazz, rock, and pop. He has performed classical guitar at Carnegie Hall, both as an ensemble member and twice as a soloist, played lead guitar in rock bands, and developed a strong foundation in jazz improvisation.

Beyond guitar, Matt plays bass and drums. He writes and arranges original music, combining his instrumental abilities with recording and production. His latest release, The Sun Closed Its Eyes (2026), marks his first independently produced project, with Matt handling every stage of its creation.
